Today was the second edition of the Daydream Academy, and it went fantastically. I had a special guest, Lucas, hosting with me which was awesome because I had tons of help doing all the things that needed to be done in the studio. 

I officially had the most requests I've had EVER in one show and so that made me feel loved :). Thank you so much for tuning in. I love the sense of collaboration involved in campus radio. I show you stuff, you show me stuff. It's just a big lovefest on the air! There were a couple that we were not able to get to, just because of time constraints, but regardless... we got EIGHT whole requests. woo!

We also had a text message request to hear Stephen Hawking beatbox. Unfortunately, we could not find any of that in the music library at the station, but thanks anyway hahahaha. Tonight the Riderless are playing at the East Village Arts Co-op which is located at 757 Dundas Street East. It's PWYC/$5 suggested donation. Gonna be rad for sure! See y'all therrrrre

Brand new show!!

Hey dudes, 

I have a brand new radio show! It's called "The Daydream Academy" and it's a similar format to previous shows I've hosted and cohosted like "Your Mom Goes to College" and "Mis En Sound". That means if you tune in you'll hear a deliciously eclectic mixture of indie rock and pop, electronica, folk, and more. I just like to have fun and play you tunes that make us all feel good!

The time slot is from 1:30 to 3:30 every Saturday afternoon, and you can tune in if you are in London, Ontario, to 94.9 CHRW to hear it. If you happen to miss the show, or just don't live in town, you can check it out online. There are two parts, which can be found here and here. 

You can phone in to make requests at 519-661-3600. We have also discovered that text message requests are awesome and sound like robots!! I will be posting playlists weekly here, so you don't have to write down things you like that you hear on the show. Thanks for listening :)
